On a fragrant spring night, the K-Royal Culture Festival Opening Ceremony will take place at Heungnyemun Gate Square of Gyeongbokgung Palace,
celebrating its 11th anniversary this year.
Just like flowers that bloom by the providence of nature even on frozen land and become more fragrant after overcoming past wounds and hardships, the K-Royal Culture Festival presents a special event for its visitors.

* Gwanghwamun Gate will not be open on the day of the event.
Check-In Time 18:30–19:10 of the event day
* Entry begins at 19:00 on the day of the event.
Check-In Procedure Present your mobile ticket from Ticket Link. (Gyeongbokgung Palace admission ticket is not required.)
* All seats are of the same grade and non-designated.
* Check-in is available starting 60 minutes prior to the beginning of the event.
* To ensure a smooth check-in process, please arrive at least 30 minutes early.
* If you arrive after the notified check-in time, your reservation will be considered a cancellation (no-show), and your seat may be given to on-site registrants.
* If you wish to enter Gyeongbokgung Palace before the check-in time for general sightseeing, a separate admission fee must be paid at the ticket office. However, after your general visit, you must exit and return to the check-in area at Yongseongmun Gate or Hyeopsaengmun Gate within the check-in time.
Event Guidelines
Check-In Reminders
Gwanghwamun Gate will be closed on the day of the event.
Hyeopsaengmun Gate is closer to the Gyeongbokgung Palace East Parking Lot, and Yongseongmun Gate is closer to the Gyeongbokgung Station (Line 3, Exit 5).
For the safety of guests, entry will proceed one by one following ticket confirmation, as directed by staff. Please kindly wait in a queue at Yongseongmun or Hyeopsaengmun Gate.
If you visit the check-in desk after the check-in time, your participation in the event may be restricted.
During the Event
There will be no separate nighttime admission to Gyeongbokgung Palace on the day of the event.
Restrooms are located far from the event area so it is difficult to access them once the event begins. We recommend using the restrooms (at Gyeongbokgung Palace's East Parking Lot or the Gyeongbokgung Station) before the event begins.
Flash photography, tripods, and outside food and beverages are prohibited during the event.
Recording, video, and photo-taking are prohibited during the event. Unauthorized recording may result in restrictions and deletion of content.
Rain Policy
Based on the Korea Meteorological Administration's weather forecast at 13:00 on the day of the event, if a rainfall of 5mm or more during the event hours is predicted, the event may be canceled to prevent safety hazards and for the comfort of attendees. The event will proceed as scheduled if 1–4mm of rain is forecast, however access to cultural heritage may be restricted for protection. The event will be canceled if 5mm or more is forecast. Pre-registered guests will be notified individually.
Any changes or announcements regarding weather conditions will be notified via text message first. Please check your contact information in your Ticket Link account before making a reservation. The event organizers and ticketing platform are not responsible for any issues caused by incorrect information provided during the reservation.
