"New Commers of Royal Palace" is an immersive experience where you can become a palace apprentice, don traditional attire, and explore the royal culture of the Joseon Dynasty.
Become a royal newbie preparing for a royal banquet during King Sejong's reign and take a time-travel journey to Gyeongbokgung Palace!

Ticket Reservation Information
Ticket Price KRW 10,000 (One person can purchase up to 4 tickets)
* Severe disabilities = former Grades 1–3 / Mild disabilities = former Grades 4–6
* Discounts must be applied at the time of reservation. On-site discount application or refund of the price difference is not available.
* Those who fail to bring valid proof cannot pay the difference, receive a refund, or enter the venue.

Check-In Time Session 1 09:30–10:00 / Session 2 13:30–14:00 of the event day
* Check-in is available starting 30 minutes prior to the start of the session.
* If you wish to enter Gyeongbokgung Palace before the check-in time for general sightseeing, a separate admission fee must be paid at the ticket office. However, after your general visit, you must exit and return to the check-in area at Yongseongmun Gate within the check-in time.
Event Guidelines
Check-In Reminders
ID verification will be conducted at the ticket confirmation desk. Please bring an original photo ID matching the booking name and your reservation details (reservation number).
Entry may be denied if ID verification fails or the reservation details do not match the participant.
If you visit the check-in desk after the check-in time, your participation may be restricted.
Mobile tickets will be automatically sent via KakaoTalk or text message after booking. If you didn’t receive your Ticketlink mobile ticket, you can view your reservation on My Page at Ticketlink and enter with that. For the safety of guests, entry will proceed one by one following ticket confirmation, as directed by staff. Please kindly change and wait in a queue at Yongseongmun Gate.
During the Event
This program is for ages 14 and older. Child-size costumes are not available.
Wearing light clothes (short sleeves, shorts) is recommended for easier costume fitting.
Lockers are available, but we are not responsible for loss or damage to personal items.
Restrooms are located far from the event area so it is difficult to access them once the event begins. We recommend using the restrooms (at Gyeongbokgung Station) before the event begins.
Flash photography, tripods, and outside food and beverages are prohibited during the event.
Recording, video, and photo-taking are prohibited during the event. Unauthorized recording may result in restrictions and deletion of content.
Food, flammable materials, and recreational devices are not allowed inside, as this is a protected cultural heritage site.
Media and broadcast coverage may take place during the event. Photography or filming may occur without prior notice.
Photos and videos taken during the event may be used by the Korea Heritage Agency for official promotional materials, publications, or research.
Rain Policy
If rain is forecast by 20:00 the day before the event, the program may be canceled for safety and convenience.
Any changes or announcements regarding weather conditions will be notified via text message first. Please check your contact information in your Ticket Link account before making a reservation. The event organizers and ticketing platform are not responsible for any issues caused by incorrect information provided during the reservation.
