Welcome,
I am Choi Eung-chon, Head of the Korea Heritage Service.

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the Visit Korean Heritage Campaign website.

The Visit Korean Heritage Campaign is designed to highlight The value of Korean heritage located across various regions and beauty of Korea’s cherished national heritage through ten distinct routes and 76 carefully curated visitation courses.

Korea, celebrated for its leadership in global culture across music, film, gaming, and cuisine under the banner of “K-Culture,” owes much of its cultural prominence to its rich and proud heritage. This legacy has played a pivotal role in establishing Korea as a prominent cultural powerhouse on the world stage.

Beginning in 2024, Korea's cultural, natural, and intangible heritage will be newly categorized as “National Heritage.” The Visit Korean Heritage Campaign aims to bring this heritage closer to you and provide opportunities for meaningful experiences. Through the Visit Korean Heritage Campaign, we will be closer to you, providing an opportunity for you to enjoy unique experiences with Korean heritage.

Furthermore, we hope that the campaign’s diverse programs will renew appreciation for national heritage located throughout various regions. By leveraging this heritage as a vital resource for local development, we aspire to contribute to a better quality of life and happiness for local communities, while also addressing the challenges of regional decline.

Aligned with the campaign’s new slogan, we trust that Korea’s national heritage will continue to captivate you through the "resonance of time" and inspire a deeper connection. We greatly appreciate your interest and support for Korea’s heritage as we move forward into the future.

Thank you.
